Why I'm the Best Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC Wedding and Portrait Photographer

As a Washington DC and Maryland PhotographerI believe that it's essential to make photographs ABOUT people, and not just OF people.

I'm a photographer serving the Maryland, Virgina, Washington DC, and anywhere in the world, you may be. Let me preserve your memories and tell your story.

My wife, Timika, is my favorite photographer. Well, she doesn't consider herself to be a photographer at all. But she's my favorite photographer because she's responsible for making the most important photograph I have to date. Weeks before I lost my grandmother, Timika took a photo of my grandmother and me, and it is the very last photograph I have or her and I together. This life experience has reshaped the way I approach photography, especially wedding photography.

Photos are important. Let me preserve your memories and tell your story.

My Style of Wedding Photography

Wedding photography is important. These are the visual records of the day you decided to join families with another individual by starting a family of your own. Very events in our lives measure up to our weddings in terms of importance and sentiment.

My style of photography can is what some may call "candid wedding photography." That's an accurate description, but for me, it's even more profound. My desire to tell stories informs my approach to wedding photography, and if I were to give a description, I would use Creative Documentary Wedding Photography to summarize my style and aesthetic.

Whether it is by capturing genuine moments of joy, vulnerability, excitement or what we know as "the butterflies." Or portraits of you and your partner, or your friends and loved ones who are gathered to witness your union. My goal is to tell your story and preserve your memoroes.

Let's connect

Hiring a wedding photographer, especially in the Washington DC area can seem overwhelming. You've discovered a few Washington DC wedding photographers that you like, and your planner may have a short list of people her or she recommends. Then rates and availability come into play, and the decision of finding a photographer becomes one of the more stressful points of an already intense wedding planning journey. This is when you have to ask yourself the question. How do these all of these wedding photographs that I'm seeing make me feel? It's essential to be able to "see yourself" in your wedding photographer's images, but it's equally critical for your wedding photographer to be able to "see you" in the images that he or she creates during your wedding.

Let's create pictures of your wedding day that show not only how great you looked, but let's also highlight how great you felt.
